We stayed up in the mountains in the most amazing hotel, and set up shop. We were asked to redesign the water bottle; I was very interested in the traditions and handicrafts of the area. I took inspiration from the traditional butter stamps, and asked for information on the local craftsmen of the area. The design was a three-part mould for a simple bottle shape with an intercut stamp base. I wanted to get local craftsmen to carve traditional patterns for the bottom section of mould which could be changed seasonally with different designs. The hope was to increase the connect between the bottle and the local area and also give it a second function as a biscuit cutter when empty.
