Over a period of 9 months invited by the ICA Bethan Laura Wood, Fabien Cappello, Merel Karhof, Lucia Massari ran workshops for young Adults with learning difficulties, who attend PIP.
Each set of workshops were designed to connect these fantastic and energetic young adults with the local community around the PIP facility and their physical environment of the day to day spaces they would use at the center.
Bespoke donuts made with local baker designed in the workshops and sold in community street market. Hand & screen printed table cloths designed in workshops from light drawing and now used for the Birthday lunches. Coiled wire and plasticine handles made by each young adult then cast in bronze to be used on draws and doors in and around PIP. Vinly stickers made from drawings of their favorite healthy foods, and used to create coloured Murals for the windows.
Finally culminating in a 2 part workshop & exhibition at the ICA, a pop up printing house was made and the PIP booklet created, individually screen printed covers and page layouts of the different workshop experiences devised.
